Adams-Gabbert & Associates Inc. has expanded its business to the Tampa, Fla., market by hiring three employees to serve an existing client with a presence there.

The Lee's Summit-based consulting firm now has 40 employees, spokesman Bob Kelly said Monday.

President and CEO Jo Anne Gabbert said the company wants to hire a management director within three months and will open a physical office in the Tampa area after hiring someone to fill that position.

Gabbert said the existing client is a health care company based in New Jersey with operations in Overland Park and Tampa.
